A coordinated finish
The indoor unit sits out of view, with supply and return grilles forming part of the room finish. Panasonic PACi NX PF3 is an example of an adaptive ducted range in our equipment records.
Design before the fit-out
Duct routes, pressure losses, insulation, drainage, return air, access panels and ceiling space need to be planned together. The unit height alone is not the total installation depth.
How will the spaces operate?
Tell us if rooms have different opening hours or comfort needs. One ducted unit serving several rooms does not automatically provide independent temperature control in each room.
Agree responsibilities
Set out who supplies ductwork, grilles, builders’ work, electrics, controls and decoration. Confirm access for future servicing before ceilings are closed.
Plan around your business
We discuss occupancy, working hours, existing equipment, access restrictions and any proposed layout changes. If work needs to be phased or carried out outside trading hours, agree the programme and any extra costs in advance. No interruption-free installation is promised.
Care after handover
Ask about a maintenance plan based on equipment, operating hours and the environment. The quotation should define the visits, scope and exclusions. Cooling and heating design, fresh-air requirements and any specialist process loads need to be assessed as separate parts of the brief.
