Example: Samsung FJM slim duct. Equipment choice depends on your home, requirements and survey. We can discuss alternatives across Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic and Samsung.

What you see

Supply and return grilles form part of the finished room, while the indoor unit and ductwork are concealed. The Samsung FJM slim duct is one example of this equipment type.

What needs space

We assess the ceiling void or bulkhead, duct routes, insulation, drainage, pipework and access. The indoor-unit height alone does not tell us the total space required.

Keep maintenance possible

Agree suitable access to the filters, drainage and serviceable parts. Return air needs a properly designed route, and the grilles must remain clear. Discuss the design before ceilings are closed.

Rooms and controls

Serving several rooms does not automatically give each room independent temperature control. The unit arrangement, duct design and controls must match how you intend to use the rooms.

What affects the price

Ceiling work, ductwork, grilles, controls, drainage and service access all contribute. Agree the building work and making good as well as the equipment itself.
