What should I clear?
Clear the areas around proposed indoor and outdoor units and provide safe access. Move fragile or valuable items and tell us about parking, pets, access restrictions and any furniture you cannot move.
How much noise and mess will there be?
Installation normally involves drilling, some noise and dust. We will discuss the work areas, protection and clean-up arrangements before starting. Tell us about home working, children or anything else that affects the timing of noisy work.
Where will pipes and cables go?
We agree unit positions, pipework, drainage and electrical routes before work. Some routes may be visible or enclosed in trunking. Ask about the proposed finish and whether a drain pump is needed.
How long does it take?
The programme depends on the number of units, routes, access and agreed work. We will confirm the expected duration and any necessary power interruption for your property.
What about decorating and making good?
Check your written quotation. Electrical alterations, access equipment, building work, decorating and making good are included only where stated. Changes to the agreed scope should be confirmed before they are carried out.
Will the finished system be noisy?
Fans and compressors make sound that varies with the equipment and setting. Tell us about bedrooms, quiet working spaces and neighbours so these can inform the design.
What happens at handover?
After commissioning and testing, we demonstrate the main controls and explain care and warranty information. App or Wi-Fi setup depends on the equipment and the agreed scope.
