Observe without dismantling
Check the selected operating mode, set temperature and timer against the instructions for your model. Note anything blocking the indoor air path that can be moved safely. Leave covers, wiring and refrigerant components to a competent engineer.
Describe the room as it is now
Tell us about extra people, new equipment, partitions, glazing or changes to opening hours. Include whether the problem affects the whole space or only one area. These details help frame the assessment; they do not diagnose the fault.
Know when to stop
For a burning smell, repeated electrical tripping or an indoor leak, stop using the system and seek advice. Switch it off only if safe to do so. Do not repeatedly reset a fault, touch wet electrical equipment or attempt internal repairs.
